Hi folks, someone with an axe to grind has registered on this site as " Dean Kelly" and sent out emails/private messages to as many registered members as he could. Please, people, do your eyes a favour and DO NOT OPEN IT!
It contains gay adult material and links.This user and his netblock have since been banned and I have set up a few more restrictions for new users. The only way it could have been totally stopped in the first place would have been to deny everyone the possibility to send personal messages (of which I have gotten 50 since this site started, so er...not switching them off) and changing the forum post style to moderated AND disabling the email feature of this board and and and.... All in all, it would have been like using a nuke to clean your house. It's effective, everything is crispy clean, but the fallout....  Again, please delete any such message without reading it. Your eyes will thank you. Sorry it happened, a determined human attacker is near impossible to stop on a public board. We (Enigma/SMF site owners) tried all sorts of countermeasures thinking it was a bot, but it isn't. No bot so far has intelligently adapted to countermeasures. A lot of sites have been hit already.
