My old USR Router is dropping out from time to time. She's been a good one. Any ideas for a new (cheap but dependable) adsl router with at least 4 wired ports would be helpful...There's so durn many brands out there anymore it makes ones head hurt.

Take a close look at Netgear DGND3300-v2 Dual mode router.
Mine has been serving me well for a year or so. Excellent performance.

I may have to go the WalMart Route...My local ISP (Monopoly) furnishes my Modem with my plan plus that exedes my yearly Puter budget. Crap they are not even IP V6 ready yet.

My I.S.P. provides me with the latest routers (WLAN, SIEMENS) also still use an old hub from NETGEAR (DS 104) 10/100MBit which still works OK, it's over 10 years old And IPv6 is a must, IMHO..... , from the grapevine, most of the IPv4 adresses are given out and new WEB-Sites, will, sooner or later, have to use both or only IPV6.
